A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Sokoto state, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi, Thursday accused former governor of the state, Attahiru Bafarawa, of imposing an unpopular Chairman on members of the party in the state.
He also described as a sham the PDP state congress that led to the emergence of Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma as the Chairman of the party two weeks ago.
Speaking in an interview with THISDAY in Sokoto Thursday, Abdullahi maintained that the emergence of Milgoma as the state chairman of the PDP had created disaffection and acrimony in the party.
