Son Debunks Natty's Death

News was Life yesterday that popular actor, Romanus Amuta, aka Natty, was dead but his family has set the record straight, saying that Natty is alive and responding to treatment.

 The first son of Romanus Amuta, the Nollywood actor who is popularly known as Natty, has come out to clear the air on the rumoured death of the man who made Nigeria's best sitcom, The New Masquerade tick in the 80s, saying that though he appreciated the outpour of affection from Nigeria, his father was not yet death.

News was agog yesterday that the impoverish actor who has been suffering from stroke for over 5 years now has kicked the bucket but the son, a medical doctor based in Abuja came out to say that though his father has been very ill and that he had been in a coma for sometime now, an impression that could have led to the speculations that he is dead, the actor has snapped out of it and is responding to treatment and very soon, will be on his feet again.
We do sincerely hope that Natty is up and kicking as we are tired of mourning our finest actors
